The purpose of this website is to help people become and remain
"Focused on the Truth that sets us Free."
 HELLO! My name is Karl and I am a
recovered alcoholic/addict. On January 1st, 2010, I celebrated ten
years of sobriety. I could not have done this on my own. It is only by the power and the grace of God that I
can make such a claim. All the credit, all the glory, belongs to
God. And yes, when I say God, I am talking about God as he is revealed in the Scriptures of the
Judeo-Christian Bible. My "life message" is all about; recovery, restoration, and
renewal, by faith in Christ.

All About Focused and Free
Initially, I built this website simply as a means to share my faith in God through Christ.
Today, my purpose is to help to those who are actively participating in a 12-Step program of recovery and are
struggling with the nebulous "God as we understand Him" issue that is so prevalent in many
12-step groups. To that end, this site features content that focuses upon the Christian
principles of the 12-Steps.
